In Loving Memory of Ross Hopkin
It is with the deepest, saddened hearts that we must inform you that our beloved leader, husband, father and friend, Ross Hopkin, passed away earlier today.
The Brokerage has lost a visionary leader. The insurance industry has lost an amazing talent. Those of us who have been fortunate enough to know and work with Ross have lost a dear friend and an inspiring mentor. Ross leaves behind a company that only he could have built, and his spirit will forever be the foundation of The Brokerage.
There will be a celebration of Ross’s life on Friday, July 6th at 1 pm CDT, at the Mulkey-Mason Funeral Home (740 S Edmunds, Lewisville, TX 75067). In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to either the American Heart Association (https:///donatenow.heart.org) or to the Volunteer Firefighters that are currently fighting the Spring Fire in Colorado (www.LaVetaFire.org – in the “Special Instructions” please add “in memory of Ross Hopkin”.) Ross and Cheryl shared a love for Cuchara, CO which is currently battling a 55,000-acre fire.
If you would like to share your thoughts, memories, and condolences in the interim, you can simply email Ross’s wife of 43 years, Cheryl Hopkin, at Cheryl@TheBrokerageInc.com. Cards may be mailed to 338 Rockland Dr, Highland Village, TX 75077.
No words can adequately express our sadness at Ross’s death or our gratitude for the opportunity to work with him. We will honor his memory and his legacy by dedicating ourselves to continuing the work he loved so much.
We appreciate your thoughts and prayers,
Cheryl Hopkin, Mike Smith, Cristin Hopkin-Bishop, John Ross Hopkin
