New Agent Advisor Manager

Position Summary

The New Agent Advisor Manager is responsible for managing the day-to-day execution of agent recruiting activities and directly overseeing the New Agent Advisors and Virtual Assistants teams. This role focuses on operational leadership, performance management, and process execution to ensure consistent agent recruiting, contracting, and onboarding outcomes.

The New Agent Advisor Manager works closely with the contact center, product teams, and recruiting leadership to support agent growth while driving accountability, efficiency, and continuous improvement across recruiting workflows. This role does not carry director-level authority but serves as a hands-on people manager and operational leader within the recruiting department.


Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Team Leadership & Management

  • Directly manage, coach, and support New Agent Advisor team members.
  • Monitor individual and team performance, providing ongoing feedback and guidance.
  • Assist with onboarding and training of new New Agent Advisors and Virtual Assistants.
  • Support performance reviews and development planning in coordination with recruiting leadership.
  • Foster a positive, collaborative, and accountable team culture.

Agent Recruiting & Onboarding Execution

  • Oversee recruiting, sourcing, and tracking of newly licensed and experienced insurance agents.
  • Ensure timely follow-up and proper engagement of new agent leads.
  • Monitor agent contracting progress to confirm readiness to sell.
  • Ensure recruiting activities align with company standards, timelines, and expectations.
  • Oversee all recruiting events and coordination of recruiting events for internal departments and external partners across the country.

Process Oversight & Coordination

  • Work closely with the contact center to ensure recruiting campaigns and agent follow-up are executed effectively.
  • Track recruiting metrics and contracting status to identify gaps, trends, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Collaborate with product managers to stay current on product changes and market updates.
  • Support recruiting campaigns, events, and outreach initiatives throughout the year.
  • Ensure post-event and post-campaign follow-up is completed consistently.

Reporting & Continuous Improvement

  • Maintain accurate recruiting and contracting records in internal systems.
  • Assist leadership with regular reporting on recruiting activity, agent readiness, and pipeline health.
  • Identify process inefficiencies and recommend operational improvements.
  • Support adoption of tools, systems, and best practices used by the recruiting team.

Additional Responsibilities

  • Participate in recruiting initiatives, training sessions, and cross-functional projects as assigned.
  • Maintain professionalism and consistency when representing The Brokerage, Inc. to agents and partners.

Qualifications

Education & Experience

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Prior insurance industry experience preferred.
  • Previous recruiting, sales, or contact center experience strongly preferred.
  • Prior team lead or supervisory experience preferred but not required.

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Comfortable coaching and supporting team members.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Ability to learn and utilize internal CRM and recruiting systems.
  • Detail-oriented with strong follow-through.

Additional Requirements

  • Bi-lingual (Spanish/English) preferred but not required.
  • Flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends as needed.
