Overview: The Agent Relations Specialist is a vital role that ensures that our mission and values are continued. You will be responsible for working with our new and current partners to ensure that they receive elite level service. This includes simplifying their journey from the contracting to sales training, as well as continued support.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide day-to-day service. Respond to carriers, internal staff, and broker questions.
- Proactively work with our partners to ensure that their journey is simpliied and successful.
- Establish and maintain positive relationships with our partners.
- Provide internal staff with follow-up communication.
- Work with insurance agents and carriers to process and follow-up on various items. Including, but notlimited to, contracting, commissions and product information.
- Coordinate with team to ensure service and turn-around times meet The Brokerage. Inc standards.
- Data entry into a variety of software programs.
- Miscellaneous projects such as completing reports, spreadsheets, and importing information from carriers.
- Front desk phones back up and lunch coverage.
Qualifications:
- Active Health and Life insurance license or willing to obtain within 3 months of employment.
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
- Ability to multi-task and with great organizational skills.
- Proficient in using CRM tools, Microsoft Ofice Suite, and other relevant software.
- Knowledge of standard concepts, practices and procedures within health Insurance.
- Eager to learn new concepts and further professional development.
- Ability to set priorities and manage deadlines.
- Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced, team environment.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with providing elite level partner service.
- Mentality of willing to go the extra mile.
- Knowledge of the health insurance industry, carrier, and processes.
- Very detail oriented with ability to develop and track key partner data to deliver to leadership.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to multitask and handle high-pressure situations.
